About the GAME
Portal 2 (2011) takes the mind-bending puzzles of the first game and cranks up the chaos, humor, and… robots. You’re once again Chell, waking up in a crumbling Aperture Science facility. GLaDOS, the sarcastic AI you „defeated“ in the first game, gets rebooted and she’s not thrilled to see you. But this time, there’s a new (and very clumsy) character: Wheatley.
Wheatley is a bumbling, well-meaning AI core with a British accent and terrible ideas. He starts off as your ally, helping you navigate the ruins of the lab. But, spoiler alert: Wheatley gets a little too power-hungry, accidentally (and hilariously) turning into the main antagonist. Watching him try (and fail) to manage the entire facility is comedy gold.
With new mechanics like gels that make you jump higher or speed up, and the increasingly ridiculous mess Wheatley gets you into, Portal 2 is a puzzle-solving adventure where both your brain and your funny bone get a serious workout. Oh, and the cake? Still a lie. But Wheatley would probably mess that up, too.
